£195 fixed labour, inc VAT · Return visit to fit a part included · No second call-out charge · Parts priced before we fit them

Everything you need to know before booking.

What exactly does the £195 fixed labour charge include?
Diagnosis and labour to fix one fault on one accessible heating component, including a return visit to fit an ordered part. No second call-out charge and no call-out fee. Parts, further faults, making access and system work are separate.
Are replacement parts included in the price?
No. Replacement parts are additional. We’ll explain what needs replacing and agree the price with you before fitting anything.
What if you need to order a replacement part?
A return visit to fit an ordered part for the same covered fault is included in the £195 labour charge. There is no second call-out charge.
Will I pay more if the repair takes several hours?
The labour charge remains £195 for work within the fixed-price repair scope. Replacement parts, further faults and work outside the offer are priced separately and agreed before proceeding.
Is there a separate call-out fee?
No. There is no separate call-out fee for the covered repair.
How quickly can an engineer attend?
Appointments depend on the diary and your location. Tell us about the fault, or call 01920 455999, and we’ll confirm the next available visit. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

You want your heating fixed quickly. So do we.

When you’re paying an engineer by the hour, the longer the repair takes, the more it costs you. We think there’s a better way.
Our fixed £195 labour charge means we’re working towards the same goal: diagnosing the fault accurately and getting your heating working again as efficiently as possible.
It rewards us for having experienced engineers, well-stocked vans and the right equipment to get the job done - not for spending longer at your property. Accurate diagnosis, safety and proper workmanship come first.
For you, that means no watching the clock, no escalating hourly labour charges and no unexpected labour costs for the covered repair.
After years of working in customers’ homes, we kept hearing the same concern: not knowing what a repair would end up costing. We designed our repair pricing around that certainty. One fixed labour charge, explained before you book. Any replacement parts priced and agreed before they’re fitted.
Replacement parts are charged separately and agreed before fitting. One fault per booking; scope and exclusions apply.

One fixed labour price. From diagnosis to repair.

What’s included

  • Diagnosis
  • Labour to fix one fault on one accessible heating component
  • A return visit to fit a part if we need to order one - no second call-out charge
  • Testing, and we show you what we did
  • No call-out fee

What’s not included

  • Parts, priced before we start
  • Any further faults, priced separately
  • Making access: lifting flooring, opening ceilings or walls, removing cylinders or baths
  • Full radiator, cylinder, pipework or appliance replacements
  • System work such as powerflushing or tracing hidden leaks
  • Making good and decorating

Experienced engineers. Proper fault diagnosis.

A cold radiator or a heating system that won’t switch off can have several causes. The problem may be in a pump, motorised valve, thermostat or another part of the system.
We investigate how the components work together before recommending a repair. Tell us which rooms are affected, whether you still have hot water and what happens when you use the controls.
We’ll explain what we’ve found and agree the cost of any replacement parts. If the problem needs wider system work outside the fixed-price repair, we’ll discuss that separately before proceeding.

What happens when you arrange a repair?

  1. 01

Tell us what has gone wrong

Describe the heating problem and provide your contact details and postcode. Include the make, model and any fault code where relevant, and a photograph if it helps.

We’ll review the details and contact you to arrange the visit. You can also call 01920 455999.

  2. 02

    We investigate the cause

Your engineer examines the fault and explains what needs doing. The £195 labour charge covers diagnosis and repair of one fault within the stated scope.

If replacement parts or separate work are needed, we’ll explain the options and agree their cost before proceeding.

  3. 03

We carry out the agreed repair

We repair the covered fault and test the work. If a replacement part needs ordering, the return visit to fit it is included in the same fixed labour charge.

Specialist parts may need to be ordered; we don’t promise every repair will be completed on the first visit.

  4. 04

We explain the work and your options

We’ll show you what we’ve done and explain any recommendations. Your invoice provides a record of the work and agreed costs.

If the problem needs work outside the fixed-price scope, we’ll explain it separately so you can decide how to proceed.
