Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar ways of remembering information on your device. This policy explains their use on the Boiler Boffin website.

Essential storage

Essential technologies support security, sign-in where applicable and remembering your cookie choice. Our cookie preference is saved in local storage under website-cookie-consent. It records acceptance or rejection of optional tracking and remains until you clear site data or we request a new choice. CMS sign-in uses authentication cookies; login verification cookies last up to 30 minutes, with a short resend timer.

Optional analytics and advertising

Where enabled, services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta and PostHog help measure visits, enquiries and advertising results. These may process device identifiers, pages visited and campaign information. Optional tracking is governed by the choice in our cookie banner. You can reject non-essential tracking and still browse and enquire.

Enquiry attribution

With permission, campaign and referral information can be stored in session storage under paddlesites-enquiry-attribution and attached to an enquiry to help us understand how customers find us. The stored information expires after 30 minutes and session storage is cleared when the browsing session ends.

Embedded forms and external services

The boiler estimator is provided through an embedded Paddleflo form. Loading it contacts that service and may use storage needed for the form. Cloudflare provides hosting and form security. External review, map or other provider links lead to services with their own cookie and privacy information.

Managing your choice

Use Accept cookies or Reject non-essential in the banner. To make a new choice, clear this website’s cookies and site data in your browser settings, then reload the page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or some forms from working, and clearing storage removes saved preferences.
