Your questions answered

Do I need a water softener?
It depends on the hardness level, problems you want to solve and the property. We can explain whole-home and appliance-focused options.
Where can a softener be installed?
It needs suitable access to the incoming water, drainage and enough space for the unit and maintenance.
Will softened water stop all marks?
A water softener removes the minerals that cause hardness, reducing new scale build-up. Existing deposits may still need cleaning.
What is the difference between a limescale reducer and a softener?
A softener removes hardness minerals through ion exchange. Other treatments aim to reduce how scale forms or adheres but do not produce fully softened water.
Can treatment remove existing scale?
Treatment mainly helps prevent future scale. Existing deposits or damage may need separate cleaning or component work.
Which option is best for a combi boiler?
We check your water hardness, boiler requirements and flow rate to recommend the right treatment for your home.
